10/18 UPDATE: Saturday Long 60 and Saturday Short 32:
Plans are in place for this upcoming weekend ride to Red Boiling Springs October 21, 22,23. It is looking like the weather is going to be in our favor and fall colors will be in full force.
PARKING: Gallatin, TN: W FRANKLIN STREET, public parking lot with cameras in front of the Gallatin Police Department and across from the Gallatin Fire Department (public parking lot between the Farmers Market and Police Station).
DEPART: arrive by 8:30AM and we plan to depart at 9:00AM once everyone has their bags and coolers loaded we will head out.
REMAINDER of the Day: Enjoy the ride to Hartsville, TN appox 29 miles (half way) have lunch at the famous Dillehay's Cafe in downtown Hartsville. Then on up to Red Boiling and the Armour's Hotel B&B for an afternoon of socializing, lite snacks (furnished) and fun. You may bring additional snacks if you want, also this is a BYOB for the weekend.
MEALS: all meals are included, country style breakfast, order off the menu dinner and a light lunch on Saturday after the ride. Meals times and daily start times will be announced at RBS.
Mark and Kally Efros are the new owners and caretakers of the Armour’s, together they bring many years of experience in Hotels, Restaurants, and Wellness & Spa Industry, and are excited about the FOGBEEs visit.
ROUTES & OPTIONS: Three days of riding and you do not have to do all three days, as stated in earlier post you have options. Routes have been finalized and posted below. Options: A good thing about this ride is there are riding options every day, option #1 Friday: ride with the group from Gallatin to Hartsville for lunch and have a vehicle take you to RBS; option #2 Friday: drive to Hartsville, have lunch, ride to RBS with the group; option #3 Saturday: you do not have to ride on Saturday; option #4 Sunday: ride back to Hartsville and have a vehicle pick you up there.
This is always a fun weekend for the FOGBEEs and their wives, If you are interested you can still join us, unfortunately no rooms are available at the Armour's but the Donoho Hotel 500 E Main Street is a good alternative and is just down the street. 615-699-3141

October 21, 22, 23 will be here in three weeks, and I’m sure some cooler temps. I have spoken to Mark at the Armour’s and we have booked 11 rooms (there are no rooms available) with 13 riding on Friday the 21st. Plans are to leave from the parking lot across form he Gallatin police department at 8:30AM. Ride to Hartsville for lunch and then on to RBS. This is a Rain or Shine ride. One Other detail I need is a hard head count for Mark and Kally, food and rooms. The hotel hasn’t changed much, just missing Deborah’s hats and a few pieces of furniture, no cigar smoking on the front porch so I’m thinking we take one or two pop up canopies to use in case of rain, the fire pit is still in the back.
Baggage/cooler logistics has been confirmed by Ms. Tracie and Ms. Sherry, they will be at the parking/starting lot on Friday.

Due to a few conflicts we have moved up the Red Boiling Springs Fall Ride to October 21st, 22nd, 23rd. We will again stay at the Armour's Hotel B&B with the new owners Mark and Kally Efros. They have a few less rooms than years past and I currently have 7 confirmed. If these dates work for you and your spouse/friend want to join us , please let me know. Also this is planned as a 3 day ride; Friday ride to RBS, Saturday local routes, Sunday back to Gallatin. You do not have to ride all three days, there will also be an option/route to start and finish in Hartsville. It is a lot of fun staying at the Armour's and socializing after the rides, wives and significant others are invited to attend.
More details as we get closer, but wanted to get this date change out as soon as possible.
